Hi, I just got a Model C in a wonderful buttercup yellow. The enamel panels are in good shape, but the stovetop is rusted and pitted and would need to be rechromed. The rest is pretty rough, too, from sitting in a barn the last ten years.
I heard that you can switch out the panels of these stoves. But can you do it between models? I have access to a white model B that's in much better shape. I want to take the yellow panels from the C (and the higher back, which, as far as I can tell is the only difference between models) and put them on the B. Please advise before I buy the model B. Thanks!

Hmmm. You are looking to get into the same pickle I'm in now. I had a Model B that had nice porcelain and sub-standard frame. So I bought another Model B and have combined the best from both stoves. I have since found that the side panels from the 2nd stove are bigger than the 1st stove and am now having to find some that fit.
Also as a note: I have Model C side panels that I tried on my Model B - they do not fit either. They are tall enough, but too wide. So, measure before you buy.
If it were me, I would wait to pick up another Model C - you'll have a better chance for success.
